PD Alberta
Introduction | For Parents | Information
Mary Jane Moreau, JUMP Math's Manager of Outreach and Teacher Training for Alberta will show you how applying JUMP principles can help expand your knowledge of math and confidence as a math teacher, while making math classes more effective, more enjoyable, and less stressful for you and your students.
Mary Jane has over 20 years of elementary teaching experience, in public, private and Catholic schools. She has used JUMP Math materials and methodologies extensively and worked closely with founder Dr. John Mighton. The first year she used JUMP Math with her grade 5 students, she raised their class average percentile ranking from the 66th percentile on a standardized test to the 92nd percentile. Her second class moved from the 54th to the 98th percentiles in one year. Mary Jane is excited to be continuing her career in education back in Alberta. See Mary Jane on YouTube.
